Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accessibility of 18 public playgrounds in Kent County, Michigan. The study examines the need to design and modify playgrounds for inclusive play. Two checklists were utilized: the ADA checklist for Play Areas and the Play Inclusive Play Area (PiPA) checklist.
