Educational technology is the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and
improving performance by creating, using, and managing appropriate technological
processes and resource (AECT, 2004).
Techn'Teach TM offers a treasure trove for teachers searching for material on the Internet in all subject areas.
Techn'Teach works hard to ensure that none of these sites, to the best of our knowledge, contain explicit material
or links, encourage illegal activity or racism, provide instructions or discussions about performing illegal
activities, engage in libelous or harassing activities, promote or utilize software or services designed to
deliver unsolicited e-mail, or are otherwise inappropriate for teachers and their students.
Techn'Teach TM tries to make a valiant effort to update every month. We will soon have a
spot for teachers to suggest sites. Thank you for visiting and we hope you return soon.
The Techn'Teach Web 2.0 Favorites
Why do we like Web 2.0 tools for teaching. Online tools and resources have made it easier for teachers to instruct students,
and for students to collaborate with teachers and with other their peers. Web 2.0" teaching tools aren't magical,
but they may seem to defy definition at times since they save time,
help you to stay organized, and often take up little space on a computer. Some of these applications are Web-based,
which means that they can be accessed from any computer and this is why we like Web 2.0 tools in the classroom.
The tools below are just a few of the favorites by Techn'Teach viewers.
